How can Iget involved in El-Shaddai?
As we are a volunteer model Church, there is always something that you could involve yourself at El-Shaddai! If you have areal passion to serve the Tamil speaking community, please get in touch with us and we will make sure your God given talent is used appropriately!
1. Worship Service: Every Sunday at 10:30 am (Including Sunday School), followed by fellowship lunch.
2. Holy Communion Service: First Sunday of the month.
3. Youth Worship Service: Every Friday at 7:00 pm.
4. Bible Study: Every Friday at 7:00 pm.
5. Menand Women Fellowship: Every month – Time and date varies
6. Fasting Prayer: Second Saturday of every month at 10 am
7. Early Morning Prayer: First day of the month at 5:30 am.
My children have limited to nil understanding of Tamil language. Is there an alternate solution?
Yes we do! More than one actually! Our Youth Service and Sunday Schools are both conducted in Tamil and English. We also provide “live translation service” during our Sunday Worship Services.
I am new to this country. Can you help?
Yes, absolutely! We would love to welcome new comers to New Zealand. Please get in touch with us and we would gladly meet with you and assist you with settling down in this beautiful country. Most of us in El-Shaddai are immigrants and we fully understand the anxiety / stress that grips people while in settling in a new country. As most of us at El-Shaddai are working professionals, we have a wide network that we could connect you to, so please fee free to be in touch and we will consider it a privilege to connect with you and assist you.
